Greenwich Migrant Hub
A drop-in advice centre offering free advice and practical support to migrants
As the Greenwich Migrant Hub becoming a project of Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network from 1st April 2019 (see News page for more details) there will be a period of reduced service and closure to allow us to make the move.
March 5th – 19th 2019 – REDUCED SERVICE
During the weeks where we are running a REDUCED SERVICE there will not be any outreach advice sessions or advocacy. We will be providing lunch, practical destitution support (food bank vouchers and food parcels to those who need them) and signposting to other services for urgent matters.
March 26th – April 9th 2019 – CLOSED
There will be three weeks where the Hub is completely CLOSED. If you think you will need to access urgent advice or food support during that time please speak to El (the Coordinator), Maimunat (the Administrative and Advocacy Support Worker) or a volunteer so they can signpost you to other services.

What We Do
Every week we offer:
- Immigration advice
- Housing advice
- Support for survivors of domestic violence
- Food parcels
- A shared hot lunch
On a rotating basis the Hub hosts outreach workers offering:
- Support for families facing destitution
- Support for survivors of gender-based violence
- Support accessing healthcare
- Support building skills and accessing employment
We have a limited number of immigration and housing advice sessions at each drop-in and we cannot guarantee that visitors to the Hub will be able to see an advisor.
We do not offer legal representation – the legal advisors at the Greenwich Migrant Hub drop-in give one-off advice in the session and cannot take cases on. We cannot complete or check immigration applications or other forms.
When and Where We Do It
The Hub is open every Tuesday at the Woolwich Common Community Centre.
We see people on a first come first served basis and can only see a limited number of people each week.
The session runs from 10.30am -2pm. We advise that you arrive before the start of the session as we are currently full by the time we open each week.
